Introducing the Online Piano Course for Beginners

Your one-stop shop for step by step piano training from the very start.

Do any of these sound familiar?

-"I don't feel confident enough to get on piano when I need to."

-"Weekly lessons are getting expensive and I'm not learning what I really want."

-"I feel like I've missed my opportunity to learn piano again."

-"I feel inferior when I see other talented musicians get all the admiration."

-"I want to be able to learn by ear, but I don't even know where to start!"

If any of these sound like you, keep reading!

The Musical Webb's Online Piano Course for Beginners is the ONLY course on the market that teaches you piano and sight reading and by ear!.

What does that mean exactly? Here's the answer from course creator Ayana Webb: "Sheet music and chords have consistent patterns between the notes (how far the notes are from each other, what direction the notes are going, etc). The more you train your eye and ear to recognize these patterns, the faster you will be at sight reading and playing by ear. Putting notes together into chords and phrases is the same process as putting alphabetical letters together into words, then into sentences."

With the Online Piano Course for Beginners, you will be able to learn how to sight read and play like a pro and play almost any piano piece put in front of you, because you will be taught the basic patterns of sheet music and how to speed up your reading. You will also be able to improve your rhythm, improve your finger strength, and build speed.

What this course will also teach you:

With this self-paced online course full of prerecorded video tutorials and printable songs, you will learn the basics from the ground up, from the keys, to scales, to sheet music, to music theory, to chords and more. By the end of the course, you'll be able to:

  • Play hundreds of songs, and have the freedom to choose whichever way you want to learn it
  • Pick up any beginner song book and play songs on your own.
  • Play in different keys
  • Master the intricate ins and outs of the chords and chord progressions used by almost every song, allowing you to learn them faster than ever before.
  • Learning the chords most commonly used in jazz, gospel, pop, R&B, and classical music.
  • Increase your speed

You'll Learn 6 Main Fundamentals of Learning Piano:

  1. Keyboard Navigation: You will learn how to find keys on the keyboard, you will receive exercises to help you retain what you've learned, and you will learn how to play your first scale up to both hands together, which is great for building your technique and motor skills.
  2. Sheet Music Basics: You will learn how to find notes on both the treble and the bass clef (with downloadable exercises), you will learn about different rhythm notes, and you will also learn your first three songs of the course. Each song will be accompanied with printable sheet music, as well as a video tutorial with a bird's eye view of the piano. The songs will work up slowly from separate hands to both hands, to make it easier to learn.
  3. Playing Simultaneous Notes: You will learn how to play multiple notes and hands at once (intervals), which at that point you can start picking up a song book and start learning songs on your own! Learning intervals will also help you learn how to play many different chords, and will also help you learn music by ear.
  4. Overall Music Theory: You will learn names of dynamics, names of different articulation, and names of speeds.
  5. Playing in Different Keys: You will learn about all of the key signatures (which help you play songs in different keys), you will learn your first song in a key besides “C”, which will help you expand your playing tremendously. You will learn the difference between “major” and “minor”, and of course, you will learn more songs!
  6. Learning Chords and Chord Progressions: you'll get solid training on the different major and minor triads, the different types of seventh chords, how to pick them out in virtually any song you hear, and how to recite then on piano.

  • Sick of going from teacher to teacher? If you've arrived to this page because you were impressed by the 2-minute video tutorial from Facebook, the same instructor in the video (Ayana Webb) is also the creator/instructor of this course! Receive hours of easy-to-follow video tutorials for a fraction of what you've probably paid private teachers in the past.
  • Feel as if it's too late for you to learn piano? The course instructor has found success teaching one of her older students (60+ years old), who went from a beginner lesson book to playing Moonlight Sonata in a few short months.
  • Busy Schedule? Here is a word from the instructor about managing both a busy schedule and making time for piano: "Practicing beginner piano takes only about 15 minutes of practice per day. Most of it is just reinforcement. Take a moment to look at your daily schedule to pinpoint one time each day that you know you'll be free to practice. It doesn't have to be the same time each day, but starting with at least 5 days a week will work. Even setting a reminder or alarm on your phone for that time of day to practice helps a lot!"
  • No Piano? You can enroll in the course now and come back to it once you buy a keyboard. You can start with a small keyboard (61 keys or 76 keys). You can order one online for under $100 or pick one up at your local music store. The brand that the course instructor recommends is Yamaha.

Here are some reviews received about the instructor from current students:

- "I am very pleased with what I have viewed thus far. You have a gift that many people, let alone musicians, do not have. That is the ability to teach and you do so very well. Very comprehensive yet easy to understand. Well done." - Jason S.

- "I looked at some of your lessons and they're really good!" - Akshay N.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does the course work?
This course is a series of self-paced video tutorials, printable songs and exercises, and quizzes, all designed to improve your piano playing and sight reading skills from the beginning. The course and its contents can be accessed 24/7, both on desktop as well as mobile.
Can I still learn even at my age?
Absolutely! I've had students successfully learn piano over the age of 50-60.
Do I need to purchase any outside material?
No. Everything you will need as far as music and material will be included in the course itself.
How long will it take for me to learn my first song!

I get this one a lot! To be perfectly honest, it all depends on your level of dedication to learning piano, as well as learning pace and schedule. Since the first song will be introduced in Section 3 of the course, and considering you follow the course on a consistent basis, learning your first song can roughly take anywhere between one month to three months, or more/less. This is because you will have to learn certain motor skills of playing, as well as fundamentals of music theory and sheet music before your first song, to which you will have to apply all of those fundamentals and skills.

How long will it take me to get through the entire course?
This answer depends on your own pace as well. I can tell you that my physical one-on-one students who see me once every week usually complete this level of material somewhere between six to twelve months, but that varies greatly. Keep in mind that I meet with my students on a consistent basis, so that time frame is based on the fact that the student stays committed to the material.
How long do I have access to the course?
Forever! Once you've completed full payment for the course, you have access to all of its contents infinitely.
How much access do I have to you as the instructor?
I'm always reachable via email at [email protected] or by phone at (888) 734-2399.
What if I am unhappy with the course?
We would never want you to be unhappy! If you are unsatisfied with your purchase, contact us in the first 30 days and we will give you a full refund.
